Dearmond guitars were made in the 90s in order to bring classic Guild designs to budget minded musicians. They were discontinued years ago but many players still love the quality and cool looks. The S-65 was based on Guild's S-100 model as played by Soundgarden's Kim Thayill. Cool SG shaped body and nice rock tone. The body is made of agathis and has the famous devil horn outline. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Dual humbuckers dish out big tones. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and sealed tuners round out the hardware. The finish is classic white for a vintage look. A fun guitar for the bucks!

This guitar plays well for its price and has nice tone. The action is low, the frets are good and the neck is straight. The pickups sound nice and everything works as it should. This guitar is in nice used condition. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches. Still very nice. Comes in a gigbag.

This is a good guitar for the money. Cool looks and good overall quality. You can't find Dearmond guitars any more so this may be your best chance to grab one. A cool guitar for your arsenal.
