G&L's have won many fans for offering great performance and features along with sensible prices. G&L guitars were the brainchild of Leo Fender and George Fullerton and could be considered new and improved versions of their classic designs. Made in the USA to the highest standards of quality. This Legacy is no exception and sports many features geared towards today's players. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. A trio of vintage style alnico V single coils are hooked to a 5 way switch for a variety of tones. The G&L Fulcrum vibrato and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is lake placid blue with a matching headstock. A great guitar at a great price!

Like most G&L guitars I've had in stock, this Legacy plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups sound excellent and the electronics work as they should. A great guitar. Condition wise, this guitar is in New Old Stock condition. Purchased out of the stockroom of a G&L dealer, it has seen very little use. As nice or nicer than many you would find as new in stores. Comes in a G&L lightweight semi hardshell case.

G&L guitars have always impressed me thanks to great playability, excellent features and an excellent price. If you are considering buying a new Fender American Series guitar, you owe it to yourself to check out a G&L. A lot of bang for the buck, especially on the used market.
