90's Danelectro DC! SOLD!

Back in the 90s and early 2000's, Danelectro came on strong with a boatload of cool reissues. Heavy on vibe but with affordable price tags, these guitars were super popular among retro minded buyers. Unfortunately, the company changed its modus operandi and focused more on limited runs and effects making many of these reissue models collectible. This Dano DC  is a great example of the breed. Vibey and chock full of useful tones. The semi hollow body is masonite for that trademark woody Dano tone. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Dual lipstick tube pickups dish out big tone. Sealed art deco tuners and an adjustable bridge keep it rock solid. This one is finished in a retro pinkish peach color. A really hip guitar. Really cheap fun!

This Dano plays well and sounds good. The neck is straight and the action is low. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. The pickguard has been upgraded to a pearloid model for cool looks. This is a fine used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some dings along the edges and a chip on the headstock. Cool vibe. The tape binding is clean except at the bottom near the strap button. Pretty much par for the course on these. Comes in a Dano amp in bag gigbag without the cheezy amp.

I wish Dano still offered such an amazing range of models in their line. Almost anything you could think of was available. Luckily there still are a few of these floating around on the used market. Much cooler and more accurate than the newer guitars, these Danos have increased in popularity in recent years. Here's your chance to grab a cool Dano in an even cooler color.
