Big blonde dreadnought! Madeira was Guild's Japanese import line. Like many Japanese imports, they were good quality and an incredible bang for the buck. This A-30MS is well put together. The top is solid spruce while the back and sides are flame maple. The neck is mahogany and features a bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. A rosewood bridge and sealed tuners keep it all rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous natural that accentuates the beauty of the wood. A really great guitar for the bucks!

This guitar sounds good and plays great. The maple back and sides lend a bright tone that is well balanced. The neck is straight and the frets are good. Ni issues or repairs. A nice acoustic. This si a fine used guitar. It shows normal playwear, pick, clear and belt scratches as well as a fewindents. Normal wear on a 30+ year old guitar. Comes in a hardshell case.

Guild knows how to make a great acoustic guitar and this Madeira is no exception. Nice tone, materials and workmanship. Unique in appearance. A great value for such a nice guitar.
