A beautiful guitar from the craftsmen at Larrivee guitars! Jean Larivee's gorgeous creations have one many fans looking for gorgeous guitars that sound great, play great and are flawlessly constructed. This beauty is no exception. Super quality solid woods throughout. Florentine cutaway on Larivee's own distinctive 16 inch Concert C shaped body. The top is solid Spruce while the back and sides are solid Indian rosewood. The top is braced in a symmetrical X pattern for tons of projection. The 25.5 inch scale mahogany neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and delicate microdot fingerboard inlays. The neck is attached with a traditional dovetail joint for good tone. A Florentine style cutaway offers access to the highest frets. An ebony bridge and Schaller tuners keep it all rock solid. A great sounding Fishman pickup and preamp allows you to plug in and be heard. The natural finish looks gorgeous and compliments the chrome hardware. The headstock features a factory custom Celtic cross inlay. I've never seen another C-09 with this inlay and assume it was custom ordered with this feature.  An incredible instrument for fingerstyle, blues or just about anything you can throw at it.

Like most Larrivee I've seen, this guitar plays and sounds as good as it looks. The action is low, the frets are fine and the neck is straight. Nice tone and projection. The factory pickup delivers nice sound that's more natural than many other guitars. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this guitar is super clean. Bought new and recently traded into yours truly, it's seen little playtime. Very light playwear and pick scratches. The clear pickguard has come up a bit on one of the edges but it isn't bad. A very, very nice guitar. Comes with original hardshell case and paperwork.

The C-09 model looks to have been discontinued by Larrivee. I could find very little info on this guitar while searching around the web. There's no others out there with the distinctive headstock inlay. Price on a new one was around $2500 when new plus extra for the custom headstock inlay. Here's one for less.
