Big and orange! The 6120-1959 recreates the original 1959 Chet Atkins models and includes all of the over the features players love.  The hollow body is laminated maple for classic tone. The body features Gretsch's famous trestle bracing for added sustain and resistance to feedback.  The 2 piece maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with neo classical half moon inlays. Dual Filtertron pickups deliver vintage tone. Grover Sta-Tite tuners and a rocking bar bridge keep it rock solid while a Bigsby V-cut vibrato tailpiece allows twangy wiggles. The finish is classic Gretsch orange transparent. A great guitar that features all of the more recent refinements to the Gretsch line including CTS pots and Switchcraft switches. Brian Setzer made this model famous and now you can too! If you don't have 15K for a vintage 6120, this one's for you!

This 6120 plays great with low action and nice feel. The frets are good and the neck is straight. The Dynasonic pickups sound awesome and offer tons of vintage tone. Everything works as it should. A great guitar. This is a clean guitar too. It only shows light pick and clearcoat scratches. Comes in original case with a ton of case candy.

The 1959 6120 is an acknowledged classic in the guitar world. One of the most pleasing designs of the 50s. Luckily you can get the next best thing to an original. A new 6120-1959 will cost you $2424.99 in stores. Here's a nice clean one that will save you some serious dough.
