G&L's have won many fans for offering great performance and features along with sensible prices. G&L guitars were the brainchild of Leo Fender and George Fullerton and could be considered new and improved versions of their classic designs. Made in the USA to the highest standards of quality. This Legacy is no exception and sports many features geared towards today's players. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. A trio of vintage style alnico V single coils are hooked to a 5 way switch for a variety of tones. The G&L Fulcrum vibrato and Sperzel locking tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a cool greenish blue metallic. I believe it was called Bel Air Green. Very unique color on a great guitar!

Like most G&L guitars I've had in stock, this Legacy plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups sound excellent and the electronics work as they should. A great guitar. Condition wise, this guitar is a nice used guitar. It shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches. Very clean. Comes in original hardshell case.

G&L guitars have always impressed me thanks to great playability, excellent features and an excellent price. If you are considering buying a new Fender American Series guitar, you owe it to yourself to check out a G&L. A lot of bang for the buck, especially on the used market. A new Legacy will cost you well over a grand.
