Crazy looks and even crazier tone! Like a vintage Model T Bucket on a Saturday night, this guitar isn't subtle. Wild looks! Schecter has been coming on strong in recent years offering killer looking and sounding guitars at absolutely outrageously low prices. This S-1 Hot Rod is no exception. Nice quality for the bucks. The body is mahogany for good tone and sustain. The 25.5 inch scale mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. Check out the wild flame fretboard inlays! Seymour Duncan designed humbuckers dish out big tone. The strings run through the body for more sustain and go over a Tuneomatic bridge for perfect intonation. Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is where it gets wild. The guitar features crazy hot rod flames on the front as well as on the headstock face. It's definitely not for the wall flower. A cool guitar for a great price!

Like most Schecters I've had, this guitar plays and sounds great for the bucks. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The pickups sound good and everything works as it should. This is a fine used guitar showing some normal playwear. The finish shows moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some dents and dings. There's some finish checking on the headstock. Still looks good. Comes in a beat up Gibson hardshell case with all kinds of stuff painted on it.

This is a hip instrument for anyone that wants to be seen as well as be heard. A great value as well. A lot of guitar for the bucks. Schecter no longer offers this finish on this model and it was a limited edition. Here's your best chance to grab one.
