The Dan Armstrong Ampegs are back! Everybody remembers the clear Ampeg guitars of the 60s and 70s. The Stones had them.  Greg Ginn from Black Flag had one. Unmistakable in looks and tone, these were legendary guitars. The new AMG100 model retains the double cutaway outline of the originals but has a traditional wood body for classic sound. The body is ash for good looks and tone. The 24.72 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 24 frets. These guitars have an interchangeable pickup. Ampeg offers several different pickups that slide in out. No soldering! This one comes with a dual blade humbucker. A roller bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a transparent blonde reminiscent of a vintage Tele. Chrome hardware and a black pickguard set it off. A great guitar for rock, blues, punk or nearly anything you can throw at it!

This Ampeg feels great and sounds awesome. The neck is comfy and wide. The frets are good and the action is low. The dual blade humbucker is powerful with great clarity. A really cool sounding guitar. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches and moderate scratches on the pickguard. Well taken care of. Comes in a gigbag.

This is a great guitar for the bucks. Nice workmanship and tone with some cool features. A new one will cost you $729 in stores. Save some big money on a nice used one.
