Cool vibe and great quality! I've always loved electric 12 strings but Rics never suited my playing style. This Jackson Surfcaster 12 is one of the most comfortable 12s I've played. Top notch quality. Made in the same Japanese factory as the earlier Charvel Surfcasters. The body is chambered basswood for a cool hollow tone. The maple neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with cool sharkfin inlays. The pickups have been upgraded to a set of Gibson P-94s. I don't have the original pickups. The P-94s offer the tone of a P-90 in a humbucker size. The tone knob is set up to be a cool push button out of phase switch when both pickups are on. Super hip! Vintage style tuners and a  clever bridge design keep it all rock solid. The headstock even apes the design of a famous west coast maker's 12 strings! Very cool. The whole package is finished in black and set off by chrome hardware. A great retro style guitar!

This Jackson plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the frets are good and the action is nice. The pickups sound nice and everything works as it should. A very nice 12 string. Condition wise this is a solid used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches and a few indents. Still nice looking. Comes in a Jackson hardshell case.

Charvel Surfcaster 12s are pretty hard to find but I've only seen a handful of the nicer Jacksons. A rare guitar that's built well, looks awesome and sounds great. A killer guitar for retro sounds and an indispensable studio tool.
