Here's a great acoustic guitar that won't break the bank! Alvarez has always been known for making great quality instruments at affordable prices. Their Yairi series are truly world class instruments combining great quality and craftsmanship at player friendly prices. This 5062 Wildwood shows that same know how in an easy to handle orchestral sized body. Good materials and craftsmanship throughout. The top is solid spruce while the back and sides are mahogany. The solid nato neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dots and a cool 12th fret wing inlay.  A rosewood bridge and sealed chrome tuners deliver rock solid performance. A passive piezo pickup lets you plug in and be heard. The instrument is tastefully appointed with multiple top binding, a fancy rosette, a removable pickguard and a cool abalone headstock inlay. The finish is natural gloss on the body and satin on the neck for great feel. A great guitar for not a lot of bucks!

This Alvarez plays and sounds nicer than many guitars that cost much more. The neck is straight and the action is good. A nice guitar for a finger picker or solo singer songwriter. The pickup delivers realistic tone. Everything works as it should. This is a good used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some indents. Overall nice for its age. It comes in a beat aftermarket tweed hardshell case.

This Alvarez will make a nice guitar for many players. Tired of paying big bucks for a name but not getting the tone or quality? This guitar delivers a lot more than its price tag would suggest. Tasteful appointments, good tone, and nice construction. How can you beat it?
