Big and beautiful! The 6120-AM recreates the original 1959 Chet Atkins models but offers an upscale natural over flame maple finish. Great quality and specs.  The hollow body is laminated maple for classic tone. The 2 piece maple neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with neo classical half moon inlays. Dual Filtertron pickups deliver vintage tone. Grover Rotomatic tuners and an Adjustomatic bridge keep it rock solid while a Bigsby V-cut vibrato tailpiece allows twangy wiggles. The finish is a gorgeous amber natural and is set off by gold hardware. A great guitar that features all of the more recent refinements to the Gretsch line including CTS pots and Switchcraft switches. A gorgeous top of the line guitar!

This 6120 plays great with low action and nice feel. The frets are good and the neck is straight. The Filtertron pickups sound awesome and offer tons of vintage tone. Everything works as it should. A great guitar. This is a clean guitar too. It only shows light pick and clearcoat scratches and a little fade on the gold hardware. Comes in original case with a ton of case candy.

The 6120 is an acknowledged classic in the guitar world. One of the most pleasing designs of the 50s. Luckily you can get the next best thing to an original. A new 6120-AM will cost you $2499 in the superstores. Here's a nice clean one that will save you some serious dough.
