Heritage Guitars has found many fans thanks to traditional craftsmanship and great value. Started by Ex-Gibson employees, Heritage Guitars are built in Kalamazoo, MI in the same factory and by many of the same hands that built Bursts, dot neck 335s, Korina Vs and Explorers. They even utilize some of Gibson’s original tooling and equipment! This Super Eagle evokes classic archtops like the L-5 and Super 400. It captures the vibe of super pickers like Merle Travis in its top notch appointments. A guitar made in the old traditions. The top is solid carved spruce while the back and sides are solid maple. The 25.5 inch scale 5 piece maple neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with split block inlays. Dual Heritage humbuckers dish out classic tone. A Bigsby vibrato, Schaller floating bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners with Imperial buttons keep it rock solid. The guitar is finished in a gorgeous natural lacquer and is set off by gold hardware. Multiple binding, a natural wood pickguard and intricate pearl inlays are some of the top notch appointments. A great guitar and an excellent alternative to a more expensive Gibson.

This Heritage plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The electronics sound excellent and everything works as it should. This is a nice used guitar. It shows normal light playwear. Light pick, clearcoat and belt scratches, light indents and some fading of the gold hardware are the only signs of use. A great looking guitar. Comes in original hardshell case.

Many players will tell you they prefer a Heritage over a Gibson for their build quality and attention to detail. Add in the fact that the Heritage guitars are generally more affordable and you have a real winner. A new Gibson L-5 will set you back nearly $10K in stores. This Heritage is an incredible value in comparison. A great Made in the USA instrument.
