A PRS for the archtop lover! The PRS Archtop IV is an awesome combination of acoustic qualities with top notch PRS workmanship. The result is a guitar that excels at many forms of music and will especially please jazz and blues fans. It combines traditional archtop building techniques with PRS build quality. The body is a full 4 inches deep at the bridge and 2.75 inches at the rims for a comfortable feel. The top is solid carved spruce while the sides are solid carved mahogany and the back is  solid carved artist grade flame maple. The Wide-Fat mahogany neck features a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and Paua shell bird inlays. Dual Archtop humbuckers deliver classic vintage tone. A piezo pickup offers realistic acoustic tones. Locking tuners and a wraparound bridge keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous traditional sunburst set off by gold hardware. Appointments include a Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay with Paua shell logo. An incredibly adventurous guitar from PRS!

This is a great sounding and playing PRS. The Wide Fat neck feels great and the action is low. The pickups sound awesome and deliver warm tone. A great guitar. Collector owned, this guitar shows little play time. Light pick and clearcoat scratches, some light indents and light fading of the gold hardware are the only signs of use. Very nice. Comes in original hardshell case.

The Archtop IV model is both a return to tradition and a bold step forward. It shows PRS can take an old idea and breathe new life into it. These models are relatively hard to find. Here's a nice one for a great price.
