Many guitar nuts know Godin for offering top notch quality and playability at a great price. This Kingpin 5th Avenue is no exception. Godin's take on the classic Jazz archtop. The body is made of Canadian Wild Cherry for good tone. The 24.84 inch scale hard rock maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets. Godin's Kingpin P-90 single coil dishes out vintage blues, rock, and country tones. A GraphTech Tusq bridge and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. The finish is a classy cognac burst satin. If you are tired of overpriced guitars that don't deliver check out a Godin!

Like most Godins I've had in stock, this guitar is a good player. Nice action. Good feel. The P-90 pickup sounds good and work great. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, light indents and normal playwear. Well taken care of. Comes in a Godin TRIC case.

Godin has always offered some great guitars for players. The 5th Avenue's vaguely retro flavor will appeal to a wide variety of guitarists. It's no one trick pony though and can do a lot of different styles. A new one will cost you $699 plus $79 for the case at the super stores. Why not buy a used one and save some bucks?
