An incredible value in a USA made guitar! Guild is well known for offering players excellent instruments at unbelievable prices. This Starfire is no exception. Built in Rhode Island, this one shows top notch build quality and materials. The semi hollow body is made from laminated flame maple. Check out the gorgeous figure in the wood.  The 3 piece maple  neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Dual Guild humbuckers deliver warm tone. An adjustable Mueller bridge, stop tailpiece and Grover tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous antique lacquer natural and is set off by gold hardware. A very nice guitar. Many players would take a Guild over a Gibson or Gretsch citing better quality and tone. There's no better value in a USA made archtop!

This Guild plays great and has excellent tone. The neck is straight, the frets are good and action is low. The pickups sound warm and work great for jazz, blues or rock. Everything works as it should. This is a well taken care of used guitar. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, light to moderate pickguard scratches, some fade on the gold hardware, some light indents and some light checking. Still a nice looking example. Comes in original hardshell case.

Guild recently reintroduced some of their classic electrics. Many players have rediscovered the merits of this great company. These Rhode Island built Guilds are an incredible value and a great testament to the quality Guild was committed to. Here's a nice example at a good price.
