Hamer is well known among guitar aficionados for building some of the highest quality instruments out there. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail go into every Hamer. Many players prefer them over the bigger brands. This 1996 Studio is no exception. Made in the USA with quality materials. The body is made of mahogany and features a carved flame maple top. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a 14.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays. Dual Seymour Duncan pickups deliver huge tone. The finish is a gorgeous natural that really showcases the beauty of the wood. A timeless design. If you are in the market for a Gibson or Paul Reed Smith, this Hamer deserves a serious look!

Like most Hamers this guitar plays great and has excellent tone. The neck feels excellent. The action is low, the neck is straight, and the frets are good. The Seymour Duncan pickups sound awesome delivering a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this Hamer is in nice shape. It shows light pick to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches and some light indents. Overall, a great looking guitar. Comes in a  Hamer hardshell case.

Hamer has always done impressive work. This Studio continues that tradition by offering great looks, great quality and awesome sound. No longer available, Hamer has joined the ranks of brands swallowed up by a mega corp. This is a great opportunity to grab a nice example.
