Click any picture for supersize view!

Carvin has been making guitars for over 50 years. Built in California to the highest standards of quality, Carvins have been well loved by many fans. One of the best kept secrets out there. Custom Shop quality and features at an affordable price. This is a great example of a 70s Carvin. The body is maple for bright tone. The maple neck features an ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Dual M22 humbuckers are hooked to a 3 way position switch as well as coil splitters and a phase switch. It even comes factory wired for stereo operation! A Schaller fine tune bridge and tailpiece teams with Schaller tuners for rock solid performance. A classic natural  finish makes this one look great. If you dig Carvins, this one’s got the goods!

Like most Carvins, this one plays and sounds good. The neck is straight and the action is low.  The electronics are versatile and work fine. This guitar is in amazing excellent plus shape for its age. Basically bought new and kept under the bed. We got it from the estate of the original owner, sold it to a regular customer and he just recently traded it back in. It shows very little signs of use. The frets and fingerboard have light wear. There's some light belt buckle wear on the back. The rest of the finish is clean showing very light playwear, indents, and scratches. Light corrosion on the hardware. There's a small chip out of the fingerboard on the bass side around the 2nd fret. Nothing major. Again, super clean for its age. Maybe the best example out there. It comes in original case which had some stickers on it but is otherwise very nice. Also comes with original receipt and some paperwork!

Here's probably one of the nicest condition 70s Carvins around. Over thirty years old and in killer shape. A new one with the same specs will cost you over a grand. Here's a cool vintage one for less. Don't miss out on this collector quality guitar.
