G&L's have won many fans for offering great performance and features along with sensible prices. G&L guitars were the brainchild of Leo Fender and George Fullerton and could be considered new and improved versions of their classic designs. Made in the USA to the highest standards of quality. This Legacy is no exception and sports many features geared towards today's players. The body is ash for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 12 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 frets.  It features some gorgeous birdseye figuring and a great tint. A trio of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder single coils are hooked to a 5 way switch for a variety of tones. The G&L Fulcrum vibrato has been upgraded with a Killer Guitar Components brass trem block and stainless steel saddles. Sperzel tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is classic 2 tone sunburst set off by a pearloid pickguard. A great guitar!

Like most G&L guitars I've had in stock, this Legacy plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the frets are good. Recently pro refretted with a new nut. The pickups sound excellent and the electronics work as they should. A great guitar. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar in EX condition. It shows light pick, clearcoat, and belt scratches as well as some light indents.  Nicely taken care of. It comes with a G&L molded hardshell case.

G&L guitars have always impressed me thanks to great playability, excellent features and an excellent price. If you are considering buying a new Fender American Series guitar, you owe it to yourself to check out a G&L. A lot of bang for the buck, especially on the used market. A new Legacy will cost you $1275 in the superstores. Here's a great example at a great price!
