There's just no cooler guitar than a Silver Jet! Just ask Billy Zoom or any Gretsch collector that lusts for one of these beauties. The entire top is covered in a sparkle silver material like you would see on a vintage drum set. Crazy big metal flakes make for an incredible look on stage. Not just for looks though, the Silver Jet is made to perform. The mahogany body is routed with special tone chambers for added resonance. Coupled with the arched laminated maple tops, the Jets have a really distinct, lively tone. The 24.6 inch scale one piece mahogany neck has a 12 inch radius fingerboard board inlayed with cool humpblock position markers. Dual Dynasonic pickups dish out killer Hi FI tones with nice snap. Dynasonics have long been a favorite of rockabilly cats or anyone wanting a powerful and clear pickup with nice snap. Tuners are Grover Sta-tites, the bridge is an upgraded Tuneomatic style and the tailpiece is the famous Bigsby vibrato. Sparkle silver finish with walnut back and sides and chrome hardware. A great looking and sounding Gretsch!

This is a nice playing and sounding Jet. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. A nice player. The pickups sound great delivering classic Gretsch twang. This is a nice used guitar in EX condition. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches and some light indents and dings. A nice looking instrument. Comes in Gretsch hardshell case with a rockabilly sticker presumably there in case you forget what kind of music to play.

The Silver Jet is an icon in the Gretsch lineup. Outrageous cool looks and that great Gretsch Duo Jet sound. A new one will cost you $2524 at the superstores. I can save you some cash on this one.
