1999 Dearmond by Guild Starfire!

Many players miss Guild's long ago discontinued Dearmond line. They offered great quality and bang for the buck. This Starfire is a great example of the breed. The semi hollow maple body features a sustain block like an ES-335. Great for warm jazz sounds but also resistant to feedback. The maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. Dual USA made Goldtone humbuckers dish out big tones. An Adjustomatic bridge, Harp tailpiece and sealed tuners tam up for dependable performance. The finish is classic black for a great stage look. A really nice guitar for the bucks that's ready to perform.

Like most Dearmonds, this Starfire feels great and sounds good. The neck is straight, the action is good and the frets are fine. The pickups sound great and the electronics work as they should. Condition wise, this is a nice used guitar in EX condition. It shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as some light indents. Comes in a gigbag.

Dearmond Starfires are a great deal. If you're looking at an Epiphone Dot, Sheraton or similar semi hollowbody, this one deserves some serious consideration. A great guitar and an incredible value.
