1988 Rickenbacker 4001 V63 Bass! SOLD!

Nothing sounds, plays or looks like a Ric. The V63 recaptures the tone and vibe of the McCartney era instruments. Incredible made in the USA Rickenbacker quality and materials. The body wings are made of maple for good sustain and attack. The neck through design adds sustain and clarity. The rosewood fingerboard features dot inlays. A Ric horseshoe pickup teams up with a toaster at the neck for that classic Ric tone. Open geared tuners and the famous Ric bridge round out the package. This example is finished in gorgeous Fireglo. A classic design that every bass player must own.

This Ric has good feel and the classic, round tone that Ricky basses are known for. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups sound great and the electronics work as they should. This is a solid used bass in VG condition. Better suited to a player. It shows moderate pick, clearcoat, and belt scratches as well as some dents, dings, and chips. Nothing too bad if you're not looking for a collector piece. Comes in hardshell case.

This is a tough to find reissue that already has its own patina. It really looks awesome and has the vibe that only a vintage instrument can sport.
