2013 Eastwood Marksman 5 Magnatone Mark V! SOLD!

Here’s a cool recreation of a very rare guitar. The original Magnatone Mark V was designed by Paul Bigsby and is super hard to find. The guitars had a similar vibe to Bigsby’s handmade stuff. This is an interesting modern update of those classic instruments. The chambered body is mahogany and features a distinctive double cutaway shape. The 24.75 inch scale maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. A trio of Alnico magnet single coils dish out big tone. A Bigsby vibrato, Tuneomatic bridge and Wilkinson open gear tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is sunburst and set off by chrome hardware. A hip guitar for not a lot of bucks!

This Eastwood plays and sounds good. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are fine. The pickups dish out big tone and a variety of sounds. They are wired out of phase in the middle position. I don’t know if that was a mod or they came that way from the factory. This is a nice used instrument in EX condition. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, moderate belt wear, and moderate scratches on the pickguard. Nice looking. Comes in an Eastwood hardshell case.

This is a cool guitar for not a lot of cash. Fun looks, retro tone and nice feel. A new Eastwood Marksman will cost you $999. Save big time on this nice used example!
