A great tribute to Brian's original Old Lady! The Guild Brian May signatures are a high quality recreation of the original Red Special. The body is chambered mahogany for good tone. The mahogany neck features a dot inlaid fingerboard. A trio of Duncan Brian May pickups are hooked to on/off and phase switches. The secret to the sound is in the series wiring and the phase switch options. Very unique tones! Schaller locking tuners, a roller bridge and knife edge trem keep it rock solid. The finish is cherry red transparent and is set off by black plastic and chrome hardware. This guitar is a great upgrade from the easier to find Burns models. Fairly rare, these guitars seldom come up for sale. Here's your chance to grab a nice one.

This is a great sounding and playing example. Low action, good frets and nice feel. The pickups sound great and the electronics work as they should.  Condition wise, this is a solid used example in EX- condition. The guitar shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, light to moderate indents and dings and some light playwear. Not mint but in respectable shape. Comes in original case.

I'm a huge fan of the Red Special. Even if you aren't a Queen fan, you'll love the amazing variety of tones and the unique timbre of these instruments. I've never owned a guitar that sits so well in a mix. An indispensable tool.
