Here's a cool vintage Les Paul with nice vibe. All of the specs are typical of Les Pauls of the period. Mahogany body with a maple top. Three piece neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and pearl block inlays. Pearl split diamond headstock inlay and multiple binding. Gold hardware. The pickups are the original Patent Number Stamp humbuckers .Gibson branded Schaller tuners, Stopbar tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge keep it rock solid. The wine red lacquer finish has aged to a gorgeous color and the bindings have yellowed nicely. An incredible guitar for a player or collector.
This guitar plays and sounds good. The neck shape is a typical slim 70s style. 10.5 lbs. Condition wise, it shows the wear and patina you would expect of a 40 year old guitar. Scratches, dents, dings, belt wear, hardware corrosion, and finish checking. Definitely more for a player than a collector. It really has the vibe. Cool mojo. Newer pickup rings and truss rod cover. Comes in original hardshell case with a couple busted latches.
This is a great Les Paul for any player wanting an older Custom at a good price. I've watched prices rise in recent years on these as players discover how cool these guitars are. Here's a fine example.
