This is a cool player’s Bass. The neck is from a 95 Foto Flame P-Bass. The body is a Japanese 62 reissue. It really captures the vibe of a vintage Fender. The body is alder for good tone. The 34 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 20 vintage frets and the foto flame finish. An upgraded Seymour Duncan split coil pickup delivers classic tone. Vintage style tuners and bridge keep it rock solid. The finish is classic 3 tone sunburst and is set off by a tortoise pickguard. A cool bass with the vibe of a 60's original!

Fender Japan instruments generally have nice feel and tone. This P-Bass is no different. The neck is comfortable and the action is good. The neck is straight and the frets are good. It is set up with Thomasttik Jazz Flatowund strings. The pickup sounds great and the electronics work as they should. This bass is a nice used instrument in good shape for its age. VG condition, it shows moderate  pick, clearcoat, and belt wear as well as some dents and dings. Fine for a player but not a collector piece.  Normal stuff for a 22 year old instrument. Comes in a G&G hardshell case.

Fender Japan instruments have become popular in recent years. They offer great value, tone and looks. Unfortunately, Fender offers very little Japanese built instruments focusing more on their excellent Mexican products. Many players favor the feel and detailing of the older Japanese instruments. Here's a chance to grab a cool instrument.
