2011 Fender Japan Pawn Shop 72! SOLD

Click any picture for supersize view!

Fender's Pawn Shop series offers players an alternate universe version of classic Fender designs. Cool looks and tones at a great price. Made in Japan to the highest standards of quality. The Pawn Shop 72 is what would happen if a Strat and Tele Thinline had a baby.  The semi hollow body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. A Fender Enforcer humbucker teams up with a Fender Wide Range Humbucker and is controlled by a volume and blend pot. A string through hardtail bridge and Fender F tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous surf green and is set off by a white guard and chrome hardware. A very cool guitar that screams retro!

Like most Japanese Fenders, this guitar plays and sounds great. The action is nice and the frets are fine. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. This is a solid used guitar in VG-EX condition. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches and a few indents. Comes in a very beat 80s Fender Plus hardshell case.

The Pawnshop 72 is a great guitar for anyone looking for retro vibe in a great performing package. Cool looks, cool tone and great feel all at a good price. No longer available new, here’s your chance to grab a nice used one.
